Early WW1 Austro-Hungarian Medium Schwere Hand Grenade, overall in great condition.  This is the rarer Budapest foundry made grenade referred to as hedgehog, the grenade is not pitted but badly cast which is another reason for the name hedgehog used to refer to these grenades. Their manufacture is far cruder than items made in Vienna. Grenade is complete with an original safety cap
